Description
Case Management Services (CMS) must manage and address concerns about students experiencing or causing distress that interferes with learning, development, and success, and ensure that they are connected to appropriate resources. As part of its mission, CMS must foster a culture of information sharing among concerned parties, serve as a hub of information regarding concerns, and promote a campus culture free from harm and violence.
As part of the Council for the Advancement of Standards (CAS) suite of Case Management Services resources, this document conveys the set of specific standards and guidelines that apply to this aspect of higher education. Common to all sets of standards developed by and provided for sale from CAS, they include the embedded CAS General Standards. All standards are broken down into 12 vital areas of operations to which those leading the functional area must attend.
